We are joining the Ballina Whalers, Tidens Brus and the Longest Johns for a maritime bonanza at the Southbank on Saturday July 29th. It is the Sea Shanty Big Sing from 3.00pm and our pal Pete Truin will be teaching some classic maritime work songs before the bands perform. The Broads will be singing at 5.50pm.

The Broads return to the magical Folk East festival again for 2017, where they will be performing and running workshops over the course of the weekend. There is a magnificent folk line up to look forward to! We can't wait.

We'll be donning our stripes and heading to Norfolk to the Great Yarmouth Maritime Festival!  We'll be performing at several locations across the weekend and indulging in some shanty singalongs and plenty of fish and chips by the quay.

We are thrilled to be launching our debut album, In the Valley of the Flowers, at Sands Films Studios in Rotherhithe.  Featuring performances from Bristolian friends Jimmy Aldridge & Sid Goldsmith, and shanty sensations the Ballina Whalers, and percussive support from the master of bones Nick Hart.
